The National Science Centre (NSC) has announced the results of the OPUS 26 and SONATA 19 competitions. Among the winners of the OPUS 26 and SONATA 19 competitions are scientists from the Jagiellonian University. Thanks to the increase in the budget, the NSC will finance 237 projects from standard ranking lists and all 248 projects from reserve lists created in these competitions by experts at the second stage of evaluation.
The OPUS competition is addressed at researchers at any stage of their research career. Applications may be submitted by scientists who have published at least one scientific work (published or accepted for publication). Applications may include national research projects, as well as projects with the participation of foreign partners or with the use of international research equipment by Polish teams.
We are pleased to announce that, as part of the 26th edition of the OPUS competition, research projects qualified for funding will be led by:

The SONATA 19 is addressed at researchers with a PhD degree conferred within 2 to 7 years before the proposal submission year. In the current edition of the competition, funding was granted to two projects of employees of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University, which will be led by:
