On the occasion of Polish Science Day, a gala ceremony was held in the Warsaw University of Technology auditorium, during which Science Minister Dariusz Wieczorek presented awards to distinguished representatives of the scientific and academic community. The laureates were honored for their merits in five categories: for significant achievements in scientific, teaching, implementation, organizational, and lifetime achievement activities. The Minister of Science granted 59 awards, including 50 individual and 9 team awards.
We are pleased to announce that the award for significant achievements in the field of scientific activity was given to Prof. Małgorzata Barańska and the Raman Imaging Team of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University, which she leads.
