Polymeric Nanostructural Systems
Workshop on Polymeric Nanostructural Systems 29 November 2013
We would like to invite you to workshop on Polymeric Nanostructural Systems which will take place on 29 November 2013 at the Faculty of Chemistry of Jagiellonian University in Cracow. The aim of the meeting is to strengthen cooperation and associate the research
carried out by the contributing scientific groups. It brings also an opportunity for training of young scientists interested in polymeric nanostructures.
During the workshop the lectures will be given by eminent professors: Prof. Piotr Warszyński (Polish Academy of Sciences, Cracow, Poland), Prof. Holger Schönherr (University of Siegen, Germany) and Ph.D. student from our Faculty Maciej Kopeć.
Moreover, the participants will have an opportunity of presenting the results of their work during the poster session (presentations in English).
The schedule of the workshop is given below:
11:00-11:45 Prof. Piotr Warszyński "Multilayer functional coatings: thin films and nanocapsules"
11:45-12:00 Coffee break
12:00-12:45 Prof. Holger Schönherr "Defined Macromolecular Nanoarchitectures and Biointerfaces: Structure, Function and Triggered Response for Biomedical Applications"
12:45-13:30 MSc. Eng. Maciej Kopeć "Nanostructured micellar films for photochemical applications"
13:30-14:30 Lunch
14:30-15:00 Putting up the posters
15:00-17:00 Poster session
The meeting is financed by the FOKUS project within the Marian Smoluchowski Consortium
"Matter-Energy-Future," which has the status of the National Leading Research Centre
(KNOW).
