The Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) has published the results of the competition for the Minister's scholarship for the 2023/2024 academic year for significant scientific, artistic, or sports achievements. Three students of the Faculty of Chemistry were among the 37 winners from the Jagiellonian University. The scholarship is paid once and amounts to PLN 17.000.

According to the Ministry, the principle of equal treatment of scientific and artistic disciplines was applied when awarding scholarships. Students competed for scholarships in a given scientific or artistic discipline. The jury determined that awarding no more than 18 scholarships in a given scientific or artistic discipline was recommended.

• Gabriela Smaga (medicinal chemistry),
• Kinga Szczecińska (chemistry)
